Bio
In 1963 Geoff fell in love with folk music and bluegrass. He then performed with the bluegrass group The Black Mountain Boys founded by JERRY GARCIA In late 1964-1965 he performed with The Pine Valley Boys; Herb Peterson and David Nelson. In late 1965 with the explosion of British Rock and Roll Geoff formed his own group PEOPLE! In San Jose. In 1968 they had the Hit record "I LOVE YOU" on Capitol Records and went on tour with the WHO.
In 1975 Geoff built his first recording studio, and started his career as a composer. He has composed scores for over 50 full-length films and has music in numerous popular TV shows. He co-wrote the theme song for the EMMY and BAFTA award winning children's series JAKERS. And was a composer on James Cameron’s LAST MYSTERIES OF THE TITANTIC.
In 1983 Geoff formed a new group with Geoffrey Lewis which eventually became CELESTIAL NAVIGATIONS, the premiere storytelling group in the US. They recorded their first album in 1986 and charted on the BILLBOARD New Age charts. THE JANITOR, an animated short film based on an album cut was nominated for an ACADEMY AWARD in 1995. They have released 8 Cds. 2 others charting on Billboard.

Geoff produced a new album with his band PEOPLE! called THE RETURN OF PEOPLE!. Currently he has completed directing the full length documentary Brothers Broken about his brother's and his musical and cult history. The film was selected at Cinequest, Dances With Films NYC and Another Hole In The Head Film Festival.
He currently lives with his partner fine artist Bobbie Moline-Kramer.
